Queensland Mining and Gas Jobs Expos

If you are looking for a job in the mines and live in the ‘sunshine state’, then the Queensland Mining and Gas Jobs Expos are exactly what you are looking for!

Organised by the Queensland Government as part of the ‘Working For Queensland’ campaign, and partnering with regional councils and a range of large gas and mining employers, these mining jobs expos will be one day events held throughout the state in October 2011.

Why Do You Need To Be The The Mining & Gas Jobs Expo?

  1. Major Mining Companies

These big mining companies will be on hand with jobs they are currently looking to fill, information on jobs and careers within the industry, as well as salary, work conditions and future opportunities.

This is a great opportunity to get your face in front of these companies!

  2. Training Providers

TAFE Queensland and a range of other training providers in the resource industry will be on hand to inform you of different mining courses and training programs available to help you pursue a career in the mining sector.

  3. Free Skills Assessment & Career Advice

The Queensland Government’s free training and career information service will be available to provide assessments of your skill levels and also help with career advice. The purpose of Skilling Solutions Queensland is to analyse your current skills and try to identify how they can be formally recognised towards a qualification that could help advance your career options – especially in the mining industry.
